This doesn’t mean the control scheme is flawed, as it’s tailored to players who want realistic driving physics. Expect to spend the first few races skidding off the track with little effort. This is not the easiest game in the world to control. Before taking on the world in multiplayer, you may want to practice your skills offline first. They can be checked out either in-game or on the GTR Evolution website. The multiplayer option features leaderboards that rank according to country. If you’re new to the game or just want to get a quick fix, then Arcade Extreme is where you want to go. GTR Evolution contains an Arcade Extreme mode, Championship mode, Time Trial, and Multiplayer mode. Though most of the cars are real, GTR Evolution introduces a fictional line of WTCC Extreme cars that take on their own unique look and driving style. It can be played as an expansion to RACE ’07 or as a full game unto itself that contains RACE ’07, along with 30 new car models and the famed Nürburgring Nordschleife race track in Germany. It’s important to note that GTR Evolution is not a brand new game in SimBin Studios series of racing titles. Doing this obviously eats up more hard drive space, so it really comes down to a matter of preference as to how you choose to install the game. The third option installs the game both online and offline. If you install offline, you won’t be able to participate in online multiplayer matches. There’s a slight advantage by selecting the first option because you can then play the game from anywhere simply by logging into your Steam account. One option installs the game online through Steam, and another installs offline. When you pop GTR Evolution into your PC, you’re given three install options. Instead you will get a true-to-life professional racing experience that requires patience and a bit of skill to master. This game will not allow drifting around corners at 200 mph or provide anything else you may have seen in The Fast and the Furious. That being said, GTR Evolution is a hardcore racing simulator in every sense of the word. The first houses arcade-style titles such as Grid or Burnout, while the other provides a more realistic experience like Gran Turismo or, in this, case GTR Evolution. If there is anything else I have forgotten let me know. When gamers hear about car racing games these days, we tend to place them into one of two categories. Did you need new brakes/tyres after the trip? I've read that the ring isn't too harsh on brakes due to having a lot of sweeping bends. Roughly how much have you spent when going on fuel/laps etc. However I have always wanted to go so at the same time want to do it properly. Costs: I don't have infinitely deep pockets like some guys on here so am trying to be as sensible as possible given I'm looking to also purchase a new house within a year or two (and have got a tonne of other things to pay for this year). I've checked the calendar and we are looking at going 14th-19th June 2017, none of these seem to be proper 'track days' - How does this affect getting insurance, I'm assuming you are liable for costs if you hit other cars etc, does insurance cover all of this? Track Day vs Open Day: I've read there are distinct differences between these two. Whilst I have risked it on UK track days I don't fancy risking it at the ring. Is this about right? If anyone could let me know what they were quoted that would be great. Insurance: Can anyone recommend a good company to get insured with? After reading up I've seen premiums of 1% of the value of the car and a 10% excess. I know a few people on here have been there so I'd appreciate some input on the following questions. So I've been invited on a trip to the Nurburgring with some friends and as such have started thinking about total costs as well as insurance.
